Wash away my fear,
Just like the incoming tide
It washes the shells away
To a not-so-distant-land.
Wash away my worries,
Just like I know you can
Because you know if the sand piles up,
Nothing can pass through.
Wash away the pain
That comes with the salty waves,
It stings the wounds on the heart
Much more than on the inside.
Wash away the emotion,
That comes with each crash,
And replace it with the way that you always make me feel inside.

I took this picture in Nassau. It. Was. Cold.
